(Vigna radiata)


1/4 cup makes approximately 1 cup of sprouts. Sprouting time 4-5 days.


Jar, or sprouter can be used. When using jar cover mouth of jar with porous material secured with a rubber band. Soak overnight in luke warm to hot water then rinse and drain, continuing this cycle 2 - 3 times per day until harvest. To minimize spoilage remove hulls by skimming off the top with a spoon.

Sprout length 2-5cm.


Sprouts can be stored in the refrigerator for 4 days
